About Us

IDC is a privately owned Iraqi company supplying equipment and providing local services to Iraqi Government Agencies, Ministries, International Contractors, Manufacturers and Suppliers involved in the reconstruction of Iraq. IDC acts in the capacity of a JV partner, subcontractor, service provider or agent.

With multi-skilled and experienced Iraqi staff members, we can provide cost effective and innovative solutions, which are difficult to match in Iraq.

History

IDC’s predecessor company was established in 1995 in Baghdad, Iraq. The company participated in MOU projects by supplying equipment and services to the Ministries of Oil, Irrigation and Electricity.

In 2003 the company was restructured and renamed Iraq Development Company and now focuses on the nation’s reconstruction effort.

IDC is a member of the EDGO - Engineering & Development Group of companies, established over 40 years ago and currently with offices in 20 countries. EDGO is a multidisciplinary, multinational network of companies focused on the Oil & Gas, Water and Power industries
